The 4th Harvest

I planted mint once I moved into my new apartment. Not that I love to eat it so much, but I just love to see it grows and makes the surrounding looks greener! It grows so fast and this is the 4th time I had it.

I think the neighbors also like to see it as they always come to see it and I am getting many comments about it. Some tells me it's good to eat raw, some asks how do I cook it, some says it's so nice and beautiful... :)

Growing plants (especially the edible one) is so rewarding.
Besides making the air more O2, you get to make more friends too.
My little Ginger helped to pluck all the leaves.. :)
It's a great bonding time when you do the house chores with the kids.
It can also train their patience, concentration etc...
When the kid is willing to help out, I think we train them to be thoughtful.
I purposely asked my son to help as well that day when he's busy playing with his Lego set. He came over and told me he couldn't help, he's busy. When he's about to walk away, I said, it's ok if you're busy, I'll do it myself. Then he turned back and asked if I am ok to do it myself? Will my hands pain? :) Naughty me like to see his guilty face! Haha..

  3. I love mint too. like you, love to plant it, because it is smaller and can plant in a small pot. I told my hubby i will have a lot of small pots of daisies, herbs when we move into new house since there is no grass land for us to plant things. :p

  5. 妈咪的心情故事: 你可以从菜市场买回来的薄荷,拔了叶子,就可以插进泥土里。就可以生长了。
